BLACKSMITHS CORNER
Do-It-Yourself Tips and Tricks from Doctors and Patients

This is a tough forum for Doctors to use for giving advice: use it anyway.

Mother Theresa had a saying on her wall; "...when you help others you will often be scoffed at, pushed away, ridiculed or punished: do it anyway.

A true sign of guts, integrity and love.

But it is difficult for a phycisian who spent decades obtaining a medical degree to come to this forum and risk it all by perhaps suggesting some treatment that isn't recommended by the AMA or books on 'traditional therapy'. Do it anyway. We don't track IP addresses or ask for ID's and suggest you keep yours private, as in DrTexas etc. You can create such an anonymous ID at yahoo.com and we suggest that physicians use a computer at a library, wifi hot spot at a cafe or some other somewhat anonymous location; not from your home or office.

That said, we have intentionally left a huge area to the right for professional care givers who are keen about teaching patients self-help techniques. For the record: use of the information on this page, the links and text and this entire website in general, constitutes an agreement that you are seeking methods to combat cancer that may or may not be traditionally accepted practice and you are therefore in no position to hold anyone liable for the advice they give you: you are on your own here and we suggest you consult with your own physician before changing your habits.

OR SHOW SOME GUTS AND
JUST GO FOR IT!

THE WORST IT WILL DO IS KILL YOU
AND CANCER WILL DO THAT ANYWAY!

And don't forget the dietary lessons in the link on the left; if you get sick eating someone's recipe, you are on your own. Try things in small amounts before doing anything that seems rash. Before you decide to take matters into your own hands remember that any program of change in your life should be done gradually to reduce the shock effect (see my personal story regarding this useful tool). In some cases shock is exactly what you want, but walking that fine razor's edge can lead to disaster, including death. If you aren't sure what you are doing, go slowly and consider the advice you receive from all sources, both at this website and in your own doctor's office, consider it very, very carefully before deciding what to do next.

Then once you have decided what to do, do it. Cancer waits for no man (or woman) and only by testing the waters (as in a large glass of water with a high dose of Vitamin C in it) or jumping in (as in surfing in cold water which has beneficial effects), only by going for it will you find out what works best for you.

Doing nothing is worse than doing something, even if that something leads to death. Doing nothing insures you will die. Doing something at least gives you hope and if done correctly, doing all of the things correctly that you can learn at this website, it probably will cure you.

If you haven't purchased and read the book "Cancer and Vitamin C" (Ewan Cameron and Linus Pauling) do it now. You can get that book on Amazon.com and it is required reading for self-help patients.

If you haven't read my personal story which clearly describes combinations of self-help therapy, consider reading that as well. Self-help can quickly lead to disaster and the idea is to kill the disease, not the patient.
